How do I place an order to be billed to my group/area/committee?
Orders on Account cannot be placed online. You can either call (212) 870-3023 or email your order to email@example.com
How do I place an order for complimentary service material?
If you’re placing an order online and do not see the complimentary items you’re looking for, please complete the order without those items and contact the Member and Customer Service department at 212-870-3023 or email firstname.lastname@example.org within the same day. Please be prepared to provide your sales order number, the complimentary items you would like to add, and the quantities of each item.
My email and password do not work at login. Does this mean I need to register for a new account?
If you are trying to log into an account that was previously registered with the online bookstore before August 5, 2019, please call the Member and Customer Service department at 212-870-3023 or email email@example.com to obtain access.
Why is there a tax charge on my order?
Based on new sales tax regulations as of August 5, 2019, there are 22 states* from which we are now collecting sales tax. If you have a tax-exempt status, please submit your tax-exempt documentation via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
*States: CA, CO, GA, IA, IL, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NV, NJ, NY, OK, PA, SC, UT, WA, WI, WV.
Why is my group number different?
Due to the system upgrade, all existing accounts have been assigned a new account/group number.
I noticed there is no longer a section for intergroups to log into their accounts on the bookstore page. Does this mean we need to register for a new account?
You do not need to register for a new account to log in for an intergroup. Once you log in, our webstore will automatically recognize your account to be an intergroup account, granting you access to the relevant items and the ability to order on account.
How do I cancel my order?
You can cancel recent orders by visiting your Recent Purchases. Please note the order must be in Pending Approval status to cancel. You can also contact the Member and Customer Service department at 212-870-3023 or email email@example.com
What do I do if I received a defective item?
You can contact our Member and Customer Service department at (212) 870-3023 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will replace it.
Why can't I place an order to be shipped outside the United States and Canada?
"A.A. World Services has a policy of fulfilling international individual orders only when the established G.S.O. does not sell the requested literature". If you are ordering from a country that does not sell the item(s) you would like to order you can either email us at email@example.com or call us at (212) 870-3023.
Why can't I pay for my order with an E-check?
We do not accept payment by E-check due to operational and timing issues that may arise in clearing such payments.
Are literature prices different in the Online Store?
No, literature prices are the same no matter how you place your order.
Am I breaking my anonymity when placing a literature order online?
Anyone including professionals, student, family members, etc. can order online. You are not announcing your AA membership in any way by using this online store.
Why do some items show a lower price in the shopping cart than they do in the description?
Orders of 20 or more books and 100 or more pamphlets and wallet cards carry quantity discounts. Please refer to the discount table on the back of the order form on the AA.ORG website.
Why do I need an email address?
We use your e-mail address for important information such as shipment notification, order confirmation and wish-list in stock notification. We will not use it for anything else, nor give it to anyone for any other reason not related to your orders.
